Our Mission.

Professional and serious when you need to, making the process easier and more interesting and light hearted than it is in some cases

Make the on-set experience fun, if things are going badly, we don’t have to make it a grim atmosphere, figure out how to adapt, make things comfortable on set with people

Clients have heard that margin videos works, they don’t know what it means but they’ve heard that it’s important they don’t understand there’s leg work that they need to do

When I sit down with a new client, my main goal is to help them understand what my ideas based on their ideas are, what they mean visually and within scope and pricing

Clients write project brief,

Our Process.

Our process is a mix of experience, instinct and composition. We find the inspiration in the goals of my clients – what constitutes a success? More views/exposure? Entertainment? Viewers learning? Viewers performing actions? (tickets, etc). Our goal is to make the most successful, most beautiful, most engaging video we can. We accomplish this through planning, writing, re-writting, shooting, editing and then more editing until we end up with a video that’s practical for each on a scope and budget scale.

.01 Research

In the video world, we call this “pre-production” but that makes it sound more stale than it is. We start every project, every video we make, by finding out what we’re going to make. We get in a room with our clients and explore ideas and concepts, stories and ___. At this point, there are no bad ideas.

After we conceptualize and figure out a direction – we come up with visuals to those ideas. Good work on the front end (concepts, scripts, ideas, production plans) usually results in good work on the back end.  Team work is important when it comes to client and producer – finding that sync between each team is magical.

.03 Production

This is the fun part. We’ve done the planning so we know what we’re getting into.

This can range from a two person crew to a 10-person team, all depending on the project.

.04 Edit / Post-Production

Someone much smarter than us once said, “You make three films: the one your write, the one you shoot, and the one you end up with.” We practically have this tattooed on our arms. We did the planning, we did our shooting and now we chisel that stone into a work of art. We like to assemble a polished rough edit, and then work with our clients to whittle it down into its final state.
